PARK POLICIES
• All skate park participants must have an up to date waiver on file prior to riding the park.
• BMX, scooter riding, and skateboarding are considered high-risk activities. Helmets are mandatory for all riders and skaters of all ages.
• BMX riders, Scooter riders, and skateboarders under the age of 18 must wear knee pads and elbow pads at all times. It is highly recommended for riders over 18 to also wear knee pads and elbow pads. Know your ability and skate/ride accordingly.
• The skatepark complex has been designed for all skill levels. Be courteous to other people using the facility and all other park patrons. No foul language is allowed. We are a supportive community of athletes.
• Riding on deck or in the viewing area is prohibited at all times. Be aware of your surroundings and other riders/patrons.
• The skatepark is a ride-at-your-own-risk facility designed for BMX, mountain biking, skateboarding, and scootering. Training wheels are prohibited on the course, but balance bikes are welcome.
• No motorized vehicles or other wheeled devices are allowed within the skatepark complex.
• Proper riding attire must be worn at all times in the skatepark. This includes, but is not limited to, a shirt and closed-toed shoes.
• Littering will not be tolerated in the skatepark complex. Make sure you double check the surfaces before you ride them and remove all trash, debris, and any objects that may prevent a smooth, safe skatepark.
• Riding when ramps are wet is prohibited. The outdoor section of the skate park may close at any time, without notice, due to moisture on ramps. Please note that a refund may not be given.
• Food and drinks are prohibited on ramps and in the skatepark. All food and drinks must be kept in the designated picnic table area.
• The skatepark is not responsible for any lost or stolen items. Rental lockers are available on a daily basis for safe storage of your personal belongings.
• The skatepark complex will be open during the posted hours. In the town of Holly Springs, a no trespassing ordinance will be enforced after the park is closed and all trespassers will be legally prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
• Graffiti in the skatepark complex is illegal and will not be tolerated. All vandalism will be legally prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
• Glass containers, alcoholic beverages, tobacco products, and drugs are prohibited in the skatepark complex at all times.
• The Daniel Dhers Action Sports Complex may remove or suspend any rider or patron that fails to adhere to the rules and regulations listed above.
• Please report all problems, including damage to the ramps or equipment, to a staff member at the Daniel Dhers Action Sports Complex at which point they will handle the situation accordingly.
